How Do Plastic Egg Trays Thermoforming Machine Work?

Aug 16,2024

Nowadays, the eggs we see in supermarkets are packaged in plastic egg trays, which are usually made by our three station thermoforming machine. Most manufacturers use PET material for production. Firstly, PET sheets are transported to the heating box of the equipment through the feeding rack. Generally, PET only needs to be heated at a temperature of 100-200 degrees to soften it. Then, it is molded through an egg tray mold and sent to a cutting station for cutting. Finally, it is stacked at a stacking station.

When using the Sinoplast automatic thermoforming machine to produce egg trays, the fastest production speed can reach 40 molds per minute, which greatly improves production efficiency. However, we do not recommend driving at such a fast speed during customer factory production. Firstly, if the machine runs at high speed for a long time, it may cause damage to important parts. Secondly, if the production speed is too fast, the sorting personnel may not have enough time to tidy it up, resulting in waste. Generally, we recommend that customers use 25-30 molds per minute during production, which is the best choice.
